Audi has bought Ducati for €860 million

Boom, as expected Audi has apparently finalized its acquisition of Ducati. The VW subisdury purchased Ducati Motor holdings for an estimated €860 million. Now hopefully Audi and the VW group will bring some stability to the motorcycle manufacturer which should allow for some awesome motorcycles in the years to come. Lets hope the Germans do not have a substantial influence on the Italian design beauty though. Nevertheless we will wait to hear what the official outcome will be over the next few days.

Ducati 1199 Panigale smashed to pieces

Ever wondered what an 1199 Panigale would look like if you had to smash it into a million pieces? Well thanks to Chris Leeson now we know. He apparently hit one of Kyalami’s bumps entering the first corner after the main straight. This is usually taken flat so Chris hit the kitty litter with some serious pace.

Hopefully now Audi will improve the build quality of all Ducati’s.  ;)
